RAW vs. SMACKDOWN

RAW vs SMACKDOWN

Vince McMahon legacy the WWE which is the most highly rated sport in the history of television entertainment, should go into who's hands - her daughter and wife of CEO of the company Triple-H or his son Shane-O-Mac?

WWE SmackDown and Raw are going their separate ways, with Vince McMahon making the blockbuster announcement that the two shows will have “distinct storylines” when SmackDown begins airing live on Tuesdays starting July 19—effectively bringing back the brand split.
SmackDown’s move to a live format is a huge coup for the WWE as it eliminates the ability of fans to read spoilers and then forego actually watching the show. In turn, that should lead to better ratings, and as a result, better advertisers for the blue brand. As for the WWE in general, this means that the return of the brand extension will ideally give more superstars a chance to shine no matter which brand they’re on.
Essentially, Raw and SmackDown are now on an equal playing field with both shows airing in prime time on the same network, presumably with balanced and talented rosters that will allow both brands to stand out and establish their own identities. Each brand will rely heavily on its roster to carry the show to success, and those rosters will be determined by a WWE draft down the road.

So, who will end up where?

Rules, Notes and Guidelines: Only main roster superstars are eligible while stables and tag teams are drafted together. Raw will draft more superstars because it is a three-hour show, and part-time performers, such as Brock Lesnar or The Undertaker, will not be selected. Divas will also not be drafted and will float between both brands.
